Business development and networking in the US vol. 1

Our overseas partners play a key role in the business life and development of our company. In addition to having these close relationships, we also consider it important to become more involved in the IT bloodstream of the United States. Whilst the online communication with our current customers is continuous, building relationships with further potential business prospects, experts and market participants, organizations requires a personal presence.
That is why our CTO set out on an exciting and hopefully fruitful business tour with the aim of networking and business development, the geographical focus of which is the Carolinas in the United States.

Our opening article presents the programs of the first days.

Networking in Europe

In the past period, we participated in many international events. These events were an excellent opportunity to build relationships and at the same time follow international trends. London Business Trip was a two-day networking forum and lecture series in May, the purpose of which was to facilitate the entry of Hungarian businesses into the UK market. Before that, we participated in the Lindholmen Software Development Day held in Gothenburg.

Connection After 5 – Charlotte

Connection After 5 was an event that offered a great opportunity for after-hours networking and a little fun at the same time. The event took place at a fantastic venue (Truist Field – the stadium of the city’s baseball team, the Charlotte Knights).
The happening was organized by Charlotte Area Chamber of Commerce. The attendees were mostly the representatives of different local businesses

The small talks were great opportunities also for attunement to the warm, colloquial and open southern conversation style. Based on the conversations, it can be stated that the assumption regarding the intensive development and expansion of the region in recent years seems valid.

Meeting the Honorary Consul of Hungary in Central Florida

The duty of the Honorary Consulate is to promote the development of commercial, economic, cultural, scientific and tourism relations between Central Florida and Hungary, as well as to represent the interests of their citizens, legal and non-legal entities.

Instead of the Consulate, our CTO were welcomed in picturesque Daytona Beach by Piroska Pazaurek, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Central Florida | President of HungarianHub | Founder of the Hungarian Summit, with whom he managed to review the current programs and opportunities of Hungarian companies starting a business based in the state of Florida.

Meeting Piroska Pazaurek

Of course, the meeting was not a coincidence, since Piroska and Karesz had already met in June, at the Hungarian Summit event in Budapest.

This is how Karesz (CTO) spent his first days overseas, who in addition to getting huge personal experiences, managed to gain useful insights and to build new relationships in the US.

Our report to be continued soon. Keep track of further stages of our technology leader’s overseas program.
